Healio and Healio Strategic Solutions Accelerate Growth Plans, Rebuild Bigger, Better, Faster Future
[Thorofare, NJ] November 2021— Healio and Healio Strategic Solutions (HSS), both Wyanoke Group companies, are undergoing rapid and sustained growth and have reorganized and are expanding their infrastructure in anticipation of ongoing growth in both audience and revenue.
Digital advertising, innovative Editorial Features content, the Healio CME distribution platform, and HSS Custom Engagement programs each delivered strong year over year revenue growth in 2020 and 2021. To meet demand, Healio/HSS staff has grown by more than 15% over the same period, with projections for additional growth in 2022.
“Quite simply, we had outgrown our current structure,” said John C. Carter, Chief Operating Officer of the Wyanoke Group. “To meet current demand for our market leading Healio products and to favorably position ourselves to meet the needs of our audience, we are undergoing a dynamic and exciting expansion that will create new opportunities to benefit our audience, our customers and our amazing Healio and HSS teams.”
The new corporate structure is organized around three pillars – Audience, Customer, and Product – and provides additional staff and resources to achieve key strategic initiatives in each pillar.
Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, Healio Chief Content Officer, leads the Audience pillar and is charged with expanding both Healio content and the size and breadth of the Healio audience beyond the company’s current market-leading specialty news coverage. Key changes include the promotions of Stacey Adams to Vice President, News & Initiatives, to lead the Healio News team and Katrina Altersitz to Vice President, Editorial Features.
Lee Gaymon, Senior Vice President of Healio Audience Development and Marketing, leads an expanded team of experienced marketers and creatives charged with growing the Healio audience and increasing engagement with Healio products.

Matt Holland, Healio Strategic Solutions Chief Customer Officer, leads the Customer pillar, including the advertising and custom engagement sales teams that have successfully increased revenue by more than 30% in just two years.
“Healio Strategic Solutions is bringing innovative, multi-channel solutions to market and our customers are recognizing and responding to the value our programs offer at an ever-increasing rate,” Holland said. “We will continue to listen and respond to the needs of our customers, and this expansion and reorganization will help ensure that.”
Tom Cavallaro has been tapped to be Vice President, HSS Customer Marketing, leading a new team tasked with raising pharma customer recognition and awareness of Healio and HSS brands, products and services.
Chris Rosenberg, Vice President, HSS Custom Engagement Programs, and his team also join Holland’s Customer pillar.
The growth plan includes expansion of Healio’s Analytics and Insights capabilities under Senior Vice President Dave Ruppel. “Our goal is to provide the Healio team with greater visibility into our audience needs and content consumption trends,” Ruppel said, “and to apply that understanding of our audience to help HSS develop programs and products that produce value and demonstrated ROI for their customers.”
Andrea Gaymon, MEd, UXC, is now taking on the expanded role of Chief Product Officer, charged with creating and leading a Product pillar built on Healio’s commitment to providing a superior user experience through all its products. The Product pillar will be focused on expanding and revamping Healio’s new product development pipeline to bring new product to market faster.
“Healthcare practice today is difficult and complex,” Gaymon said. “As we see it, product development is really about finding ways Healio can help our audience stay informed easily and conveniently, through sources they know they can trust. It’s all about connecting with them to identify needs, develop solutions and then present those solutions in the most user-friendly way possible.”
Peter Slack, President and CEO of the Wyanoke Group, guided the Wyanoke Group and Healio/HSS teams as they designed and carried out this expansion and reorganization.
